This year (2010), the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and its contributing organizations sought to further the educational footprint of the program by teaming up with Colorado Springs School District 11 (D11). D11 high school students were invited to participate in a competition where they could utilize their unique talents to create a variety of products and content for viewing and download by NORAD Tracks Santa (NTS) website visitors. The winning student/group would be offered an educational opportunity through NORAD and the United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), the ability to participate in tracking Santa at the "NTS Operations Center" on 24 December, in addition to having their work featured on the home page of the NORAD Tracks Santa website!

Students from Bijou School and Wasson High School submitted the below videos, puzzles and stories; the winning project belongs to dance and video students from Wasson High School!

We extend a big THANK YOU to all of the students and teachers for their hard work and fantastic projects!
